Point Isabel ISD monitors the spread of COVID-19 daily and receives regular guidance from district officials, the Cameron County Health Department, the Texas Education Agency, and other local, state, and federal agencies about prevention, response, and mitigation efforts. During the Point Isabel ISD REMOTE LEARNING Phase, we will continue our efforts to provide technical support to our students and parents. The Technology Department will make every effort to ensure that instructional continuity is not disrupted by using all available district resources to engage in remote learning.

The registration form is ONLY available for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students to the district for the 2021-2022 school year.
Free Summer Meals will be provided Monday-Friday from 11:00am-1:00pm at Laguna Madre Youth Center, Garriga Elementary, Derry Elementary, and Port Isabel High School. For more information, you may also call the Child Nutrition Department at (956) 943-0079.
The application for P-EBT benefits will be open until Friday, August 13, 2021. P-EBT provides food benefits to families with eligible children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price meals during the 2020–21 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
