School Bus Rules
2022 - 2023
Transportation is a privilege provided by the Point Isabel ISD Board of Trustees and failure to follow these rules will be grounds for excluding a student from riding the bus.
1. Observe the same rules as written in the Student Code of Conduct.
2. Students will enter and leave the bus in an orderly manner.
3. Be courteous. No profanity is allowed on the bus.
4. Loud or unusual noises will not be allowed on the bus.
5. Do not eat or drink on the bus. A sudden stop could cause the student to choke on what he/she has in his/her mouth.
6. Keep your hands, feet, head, and other objects inside the bus.
7. Do not write or be destructive of school bus property. Destruction of school bus property will result in charging the students for repair costs.
8. Remain in your seat at all times. Do not move or stand while the bus is in motion.
9. Keep the school bus clean. Throw all trash in the trash can located in the front of the bus.
10. Do not throw objects inside or outside the bus.
11. Opening the emergency doors or exits will result in the suspension of bus riding privileges.
12. Fighting in the bus will result in the suspension of bus riding privileges.
13. The bus driver is authorized to assign seats at any time.
14. For students in grades Pre-K to 2nd grade, an authorized parent/responsible adult must be present to receive the student at the door.

Reglas del Autobús Escolar
2022 - 2023
El transporte es un privilegio proporcionado por la junta directiva de Point Isabel ISD y el incumplimiento de estas reglas será motivo para excluir a un estudiante de viajar el autobús.
1. Observe las mismas reglas que las escritas en el Código de Conducta Estudiantil.
2. Los estudiantes entrarán y saldrán del autobús de manera ordenada.
3. Sea cortés. No se permite ninguna profanidad en el autobús.
4. No se permitirán ruidos fuertes o inusuales en el autobús.
5. No coma ni beba en el autobús. Una parada repentina podría hacer que el estudiante se ahogue con lo que él / ella tiene en su boca.
6. Mantenga las manos, los pies, la cabeza y otros objetos dentro del autobús.
7. No escribir o ser destructivo de propiedad de autobús escolar. La destrucción de la propiedad del autobús escolar resultará en cobros a los estudiantes por los costos de reparación.
8. Permanezca en su asiento en todo momento. No se mueva ni se pare mientras el autobús esté en movimiento.
9. Mantenga el autobús escolar limpio. Tire toda la basura en el bote de basura situado en la parte delantera del autobús.
10. No tire objetos dentro o fuera del autobús.
11. El abrir las puertas o salidas de emergencia resultará en la suspensión de los privilegios de transportación del autobús.
12. Peleas en el autobús resultará en la suspensión del privilegio de transportación del autobús.
13. El conductor del autobús está autorizado a asignar asientos en cualquier momento.
14. Para los estudiantes en los grados de Pre-K a 2do grado, un padre / adulto responsable debe estar presente para recibir al estudiante en la puerta.
