Point Isabel ISD Announces Salary Increase and Sustained Stipend Opportunities for All Staff

[Port Isabel, Texas] - Point Isabel Independent School District (PIISD) is excited to announce a comprehensive salary increase for its esteemed staff members, along with an ongoing commitment to providing valuable stipend opportunities. With a focus on recognizing the dedication and hard work of its employees, PIISD is steadfast in its mission to provide competitive compensation and support professional growth.

 

Effective from the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year, Point Isabel ISD is proud to implement a 3% general pay increase for teachers, establishing a new starting pay of $53,200. This raise reflects the district's deep appreciation for the vital role teachers play in shaping the lives of students and acknowledges their unwavering commitment to educational excellence.

 

Furthermore, PIISD is pleased to announce a 2% pay increase for administration, clerical, and auxiliary workers. This adjustment will further enhance the district's ability to recruit and retain talented individuals across all departments. Starting pay for clerical positions will be set at $13.50/hour and starting pay for auxiliary positions will be set at $13.00/hour, recognizing their critical support in maintaining the district's operations and educational environment.
