Point Isabel is thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our talented Point Isabel Tarpon athletes who recently competed in the TAAF Regional meet in McAllen, Texas. Not only did they showcase their incredible skills, but they have also secured their spots in the prestigious State Games of Texas in Brownsville. First off, a round of applause for the following athletes who triumphed at the TAAF Regional meet and will be representing Point Isabel ISD at the State Games:
- Emily Ramos - Dominating the hurdles event with her impressive speed and technique.
- Elle Wall - A true all-rounder, excelling in the 100m, 200m, and high jump events.
- Joe Jimenez - Showing his expertise in pole vaulting and leaving competitors in awe.
- Mikel Sosa - An exceptional pole vaulter, exhibiting unmatched talent.
