Port Isabel Early College High School Celebrates Remarkable Success at ATSSB and TMEA All-State Auditions

Port Isabel, TX – January 8, 2024 – Port Isabel Early College High School (PIECHS) is elated to announce the outstanding achievements of its Silver Tarpon Band members at the recent ATSSB and TMEA All-State audition process held on Saturday, January 6, 2024. A total of 19 talented students showcased their musical prowess at the Area level, resulting in a triumphant moment for PIECHS as four students have earned the esteemed title of TEXAS ALL-STATE MUSICIANS.

This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy, as less than 1% of Texas High School students attain the prestigious All-State Musician designation. The dedication and musical excellence exhibited by these students have brought honor to Port Isabel Early College High School.
