*"All employees who hold a credential issued by SBEC/TEA that has not been previously printed through SBEC will be subject to this requirement."
Thank you for your interest in our school district. PIISD utilizes an online application system called OneAPP. This application system is facilitated by the Region One Education Service Center. As vacancies occur, they are posted online. Applicants are encouraged to check online frequently for new employment postings and to update their application as changes occur. Your application becomes active/eligible when all credentials have been received. All applications remain "Active" for 90 days, after which they automatically become "inactive". Tor reactivate an inactive application, log into your application and click the "reactivate" button. Only those applicants cleared through the Human Resources Department will be permitted to interview. All inquiries concerning your application and interviews need to be addressed directly to the Human Resources Department at (956)943-0008.

Point Isabel ISD accepts applications twelve months a year. Applications are processed throughout the year, and hiring takes place throughout the year. As would be expected, the busiest hiring time is in the spring for the following school year. Most spring hiring is done in May, June, and July; therefore, applicants interested in being considered for the fall hiring should turn in an application as early as January.
