🎉 Fine Arts Pride at Point Isabel ISD! 🎶💙
This past weekend was an exciting one for our students! Our HS Color Guard competed at the TECA event at Juarez Lincoln HS, facing 19 novice units and earning an impressive 6th place finish in their class. We are incredibly proud of their emotional performance, strong teamwork, and the amazing crowd response! 👏✨

We also celebrate our JH musicians who represented PIISD at the TMEA Middle School All-Region Clinic & Concert. Congratulations to Jen Castillo (8th grade oboe) and Lia Moore (8th grade flute) for performing alongside the top 5A/6A middle school musicians in Region 28. Their dedication and talent truly shined! 🎼🌟

Region One rootEd Alliance proudly supported students from Port Isabel Early College High School as they participated in the UTRGV Orange and Gray Day Facilities Tour.
As one of the first districts in the Rio Grande Valley to engage in this comprehensive tour, students had the opportunity to explore UTRGV’s athletic facilities in depth. They gained valuable insight into the numerous departments, operational processes, and professional roles required to successfully coordinate and execute game‑day operations.
This experience provided students with meaningful exposure to potential career pathways and a deeper understanding of the collaborative efforts behind collegiate athletics.
