Lady Tarpons Varsity Track is representing Port Isabel at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas! These athletes are competing against some of the top talent across the state: 💙 4x100 Relay: Lizbeth Perez, Itzel Vela, Layla Mata, Elle Wall 💙 4x400 Relay: Julieta Ruiz, Layla Mata, Madilynn Zamarron, Lizbeth Perez 💙 High Jump: Elle Wall We are incredibly proud of these athletes for earning the opportunity to compete at one of the most prestigious meets in Texas. The Lady Tarpons showed up strong at the Meet of Champions! 💪🐟 Layla Mata battled her way to a 4th place finish in the 300m hurdles and 5th in the 100m hurdles. Elle Wall soared to 1st place in the high jump, clearing an impressive 5’6”! 🥇 She also placed 4th in the long jump. We are proud of these athletes for representing Port Isabel with determination and excellence! 💙
