Our talented Port Isabel Early College High School band students spent days preparing and had an unforgettable, inspiring experience at the Texas Music Educators Association Clinic & Convention, performing with the Association of Texas Small School Bands Symphonic Band.
👏 Joe Perez, a senior, earned 5th Best Alto Saxophonist in the State (4A) in his first time achieving this honor!
🥁 Juan Hernandez, a sophomore, earned 4th Best Percussionist in the State (4A) for the second time!
They made new friends across Texas, learned from a world-class conductor, and were cheered on by our amazing All-State Port Isabel band alumni—because Tarpon Band is family! 💙🎵
Congratulations to Joe, Juan, and all our band students for representing Port Isabel with excellence! 🐟🎶
