🎶💙 Congratulations, Silver Tarpon Band! 💙🎶

The Silver Tarpon Band had an outstanding weekend at the ATSSB All-Region Auditions in La Feria, competing against some of the best musicians from 4A schools and below.

We’re incredibly proud to share that 26 students earned a spot or alternate position in the All-Region Band—and 18 of them qualified for AREA! This is a tremendous achievement and brings them one step closer to becoming All-State musicians. They will compete at the AREA round on January 10, 2026, in Calallen.

Thank you to our talented students, dedicated staff, and supportive community for helping our music program shine!

The Lady Tarpons wrapped up the BISD Tournament today with a strong win over the Rivera Lady Raiders. The team showed hustle, grit, and growth from start to finish. Next week’s matchups: Hanna and Los Fresnos — let’s keep the momentum going, Lady Tarpons!

Congratulations to our Port Isabel Boys Basketball team. Tarpon boys will play Brownsville Veterans for the Gold Bracket Championship at 2pm at Brownsville Hanna.🏀
