🎉🎉Our Tarpons and Lady Tarpons traveled to Donna North High School to take the title of 2024 Team Champions of the RGVCCCA Meet of Champions! Go Tarpons!🎉🎉
Today, the Lady Tarpon JV teams took down Hidalgo in two sets respectively.
The varsity team played with immense heart and determination to take down the two-time defending district champions and current undefeated team in district play. Regardless of the set backs, they played with grit and took Hidalgo to 5 sets and ended their undefeated winning streak.
All three teams won and are keeping their eye on the prize.

Adrian Jimenez Murat has a passion for music. He has enjoyed creating PIECHS's first Alma Mater with the support of his band directors. He has been in the ATSSB All-State Band for two years. Last year, he made history by being the only student from a 4A school to participate and earn 1st place in a 6A event. Adrian is currently the drum major of our Tarpon Marching Band. After graduation, he plans to attend UT Austin to major in music. He is a candidate to earn his Associate's degree in May 2025.
Congratulations to Adrian for being selected as Estudiante de la Semana. Channel 5 will visit PIECHS on Thursday to conduct some interviews. There is more to tell.
