Port Isabel ECHS Culinary Arts and Hospitality and Tourism CTE students are representing Point Isabel ISD proudly at the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association Education Foundation and University of Texas Rio Grande Valley THLA–UTRGV Fall Hotel Camp at Margaritaville in South Padre Island, TX today. This three-day conference provides hands-on industry learning focused on customer service, leadership, and career pathways in the hospitality field. We are grateful for our partnership with Region One and the UTRGV Hospitality and Tourism Department for providing this valuable experience, with Chef Galindo and Mr. Patlan supporting our Tarpons on site.

🎶💙 Congratulations, Silver Tarpon Band! 💙🎶
The Silver Tarpon Band had an outstanding weekend at the ATSSB All-Region Auditions in La Feria, competing against some of the best musicians from 4A schools and below.
We’re incredibly proud to share that 26 students earned a spot or alternate position in the All-Region Band—and 18 of them qualified for AREA! This is a tremendous achievement and brings them one step closer to becoming All-State musicians. They will compete at the AREA round on January 10, 2026, in Calallen.
Thank you to our talented students, dedicated staff, and supportive community for helping our music program shine!
