School Bus Safety Week

National School Bus Safety week will be October 16-October 20, 2023 this year. The theme is "Safely Rolling To My Destination."

A special THANK YOU to our Point Isabel ISD BUS DRIVERS for making a BIG IMPACT on our PIISD student's educational experience.  Daily, our drivers strive to get our students to school and home safely and on time.  

DAILY, OUR AMAZING BUS DRIVERS:

Transport our students to school so they can have a successful day of learning and interacting with their peers

Transport our students to their assigned stops safely after a long day at school

Transport our students on academic study trips to add to their educational experience (museums, zoos, farms, aquariums, colleges, etc.)

Transport our student athletes to their practices and games

Provide lessons about safety and teach our students about responsibility
