Afterschool Program Mission Statement

The Point Isabel ISD Afterschool Program serves as an extension of the school day, enhancing student success by addressing attendance, behavior, social skills, and academics.

What is ACE?

The Texas ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) is a grant program to help advance student’s academic success by improving attendance, behavior, and academics. The ACE program is administered by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and is funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers initiative of the U.S. Department of Education. Texas ACE grantees offer free afterschool programming to schools across the state.
