Point Isabel ISD Safety Update:
Tarpon community,
A PIISD school bus transporting students from Port Isabel Junior Higb School was involved in an accident this afternoon, April 17, 2026, at approximately 3:50 PM involving a passenger car on HWY 100.
Parents have been notified and the students have been evaluated by EMTs.
The occupants of the car were transported by EMS to a local hospital.
Local law-enforcement agencies are investigating the accident
with assistance from Point Isabel ISD police.
