Point Isabel ISD welcomed the Texas Southmost College (TSC) leadership team for a productive meeting focused on expanding dual enrollment opportunities in Culinary Arts, under the direction of Chef Celia Galindo. The agenda centered around implementing a Level 1 Certificate in Culinary, with next steps focused on aligning curriculum, finalizing program logistics, and offering students early access to industry-based certifications that lead to workforce readiness and high-demand careers. This collaboration highlights the district’s continued commitment to expanding industry-based certifications and strengthening career pathways.
