New student registration for the 2026–2027 school year is happening now at all Point Isabel ISD campuses.

📝 Please have the following documents ready for in-person:
• Proof of residency
• Parent/guardian valid ID
• Birth certificate
• Immunization records
• Student Social Security card (if available)

ℹ️ Note: Returning students do not need to re-enroll. Parents will only need to verify/update contact information online.

The Point Isabel ISD Board of Trustees has officially approved the 2026-2027 Compensation Plan!

Highlights include:
🔹 2.0% increase for Administrators/Professionals
🔹 4.0% increase for Clerical staff
🔹 4.0% increase for Auxiliary staff
🔹 Starting Teacher Salary: $57,170
🔹 Teachers New to PIISD (20+ Years of Experience): $71,640

☀️📚Summer School Fun! Students at Derry Elementary are having fun learning about zoo animals while creating arts and crafts necklaces! Students had the opportunity to share a story about their favorite animals. Great things are happening at Point Isabel ISD!

Point Isabel ISD School Board meeting was held in the NEW Boardroom! SHAC Committee presented year overview and SPI Chief of Police, Chief Claudine O’Carroll and SPI CVB presented Superintendent Capistran an Appreciation Award for 2026 State Police Games partnership. Great things are happening at PIISD!
