Special Note for Garriga Elementary:
Registration will take place at the Central Office (101 Port Road, Port Isabel, TX 78578) until further notice.
Please bring the following documents to registration:
- Proof of residency
- Parent/guardian valid identification
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records
- Student social security card (if available)
🌐 All current students will be automatically enrolled for next year unless they withdraw before then. There will be no current student registration for the 24-25 school year. Parents will complete updated paperwork during the first week of school.

We are thrilled to announce that Meet the Teacher Night is set for Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM! Come and meet your child's teacher, learn about the curriculum, drop off school supplies, and ask any questions you may have.
This is a great opportunity to connect with our amazing teachers and get a glimpse of the exciting year ahead. We can't wait to see our Tarpon community back in the classroom!
2024-2025 Port Isabel Junior High School School Supplies List🍎
Students at Port Isabel ECHS explored the world of architecture and construction in our inaugural 2024 Architecture and Construction Work-Based Learning Summer CTE Camp hosted by the College and Career Readiness Department. This program, under the direction of Mr. Romeo Ruelas and in collaboration with our Maintenance Department and Region One’s Perkins Innovation Modernization (PIM) Grant, provided our students with hands-on experience with real-world projects, guided by industry professionals, and included interactive workshops, construction site visits, and career mentorship. Point Isabel ISD will continue to focus on events in Career and Technical Education (CTE) in order to enhance the skills and success of our students.

All summer feeding locations (HS, Laguna Madre Youth Center, Port Isabel Housing Authority) sites will be closed July 8 and July 9.
