Tarpon Families, Following a 4:30 PM National Weather Service Update, Tropical Storm Francine is expected to have a greater impact on the Laguna Madre area tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Due to this, all Point Isabel ISD schools and facilities will open at 10:15 AM. Bus routes will begin at 10:00 AM, with a 4-hour delay from normal pick-up times. i.e) If your normal pick-up time is 6:30 AM, tomorrow's pick-up time will be 10:30 AM. Instructional time will begin at 11:00 AM. Schools and facilities will not open until 10:15 AM. The safety of our students remains our top priority. Weather Update: A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for the Laguna Madre area. Due to the anticipated impact of Tropical Storm Francine, bus routes will be delayed by 1 hour. Instructional hours will remain the same as: Elementary Schools-7:40 AM, Junior High- 8:00 AM, High School- 8:05 AM
